Josh writes: – The ever-expanding library of games that support the PlayStation VR headset grows by the week. I was one of the people that jumped on the VR headset soon after its original release and with the exception of a few good games, I felt like the headset was deemed an unwanted piece of hardware, much like the PlayStation Vita, and would soon not see any kind of support.
However, as time has progressed, we have seen more developers embrace the VR for what it is, and more what it could be. This warms the icicles of my dark heart to no ends as I would hate to know that I spent $300+ on a piece of equipment, just to collect dust! The library has, indeed, grown quite a bit over the past couple years, but how much variety have we seen in the types of games we are playing? I think its safe to say that Wave shooters are the go-to genre for developers. It requires little explanation what the objective is in any given level. Guns ‘n’ Stories: Bulletproof VR is the latest addition to the PlayStation VR’s growing library of games. Is the town big enough for another wave shooter, or is this western destined to poison the waterhole?!.
